    Don't know if this was intentional:

    A healing captain can now heal off-combat, which I think is great news :D

    Stumbled upon that myself, love that feature, helps when no heal unit is around.

    Huh, I've always used heal outside of combat? The only change I noticed was that now my captain doesn't stop and do the "jump in the air" animation any more, which is nice because I can now heal while moving.

    Really? I never noticed that.
    In any case, the ability to heal off-combat changes the way I gear my "healing" captain, as I now can concentrate on "weaponry" gear while in combat, and change to Engineering gear to heal at the end of a fight.

    Or would that be considered an "exploit", you reckon ?

    Personally, I don't think that's an exploit. It's balanced by how very annoying it must be to change your gear all the time. ;-)

    To be honest, if you're really struggling for health you can always leave the island and come immediately back.
    Mobs don't respawn, so you can pick up where you left off.

    Having said all that, by the time you reach level 14, most mobs are quite easy.

    if you die you just come back like nothing ever happened it seems like you dont loose any xp or anything just a bit of pride
